500mm or more as large-diameter straight-seam steel pipes. Large-diameter
straight-seam steel pipes are the best choice for large-scale pipeline projects,
water and gas transmission projects, and urban pipe network construction. In
other words, large-diameter straight-seam steel pipes have larger diameters and
smaller limitations (the current maximum diameter of seamless steel pipes is
1020mm, the maximum diameter of double-weld steel pipes can reach 2020mm, and
the maximum diameter of single-weld seams can reach 1420mm), simple process and
low price. and other advantages are widely used.
Double-sided submerged arc welded straight seam steel pipes are also straight
seam steel pipes. The submerged arc welded straight seam steel pipe adopts the
JCOE cold forming process, the welding seam adopts the welding wire, and the
submerged arc welding adopts the particle flux. The main production process of
submerged arc welded straight seam steel pipe is relatively flexible, and it can
produce any specification, which largely meets the international requirements
for steel pipe size, while domestic standard production usually adopts high
frequency straight seam steel pipe.
